ENC: BLINDSPOT is a new program line, created for the 32nd edition of the festival. This program line is intended to give space for presentation to theatrical disciplines outside the drama environment, such as physical and non-verbal theater. It aims to complement the main program and show the festival visitors other dimensions of theater in theater schools.
This year, only schools from the Czech Republic and Slovakia will take part in two selected performances.

A joint project of dance, camera, editing, and scenography students inspired by Boccaccio’s Decameron and their own isolation in the privacy of their rooms for online teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic. VŠMU students have adapted the story of ten young people who flee from the epidemic of a terrible plague to seclusion, where they survive, in a creative mood, thanks to storytelling. Isolated within the squares of their computers in small rooms, they transform everyday experience, research carried out at home, and inner experience into a hybrid work which returns them all to the corridors, classrooms, and halls of the Academy of Performing Arts.
