Theresa was born and lived for most of her life in Berlin. After school she spent a volunteer year in Czech Republic. Since then she is interested in languages, history and cultures of Middle and Eastern European countries. In her Bachelor she studied European Ethnology and Slavonic Languages and Literatures with a focus on Russian language. Meanwhile she got more and more involved with theatre both practically and theoretically. Theresa played in several youth theatre clubs, did an internship at the state theatre in Dresden and wrote final paper about analogies between ethnologist research methods and documentary theatre.
Since October 2018 she study the M.A. program Dramaturgy in Frankfurt Main. Here she started to work as a dramaturg together with the director Carolin Millner on an immersive theatre serial about the history of East Germany.
Currently she is doing an internship at Volksbühne Berlin in preparation for the POSTWEST festival in May 2020.
