Award

The festival is non-competitive, but includes several awards. The awards do not serve to create a ranking of individual productions from the main program of the festival, but through them the inspirational and inventive artistic achievements of young theatre makers are highlighted. The MARTA Award is associated with a specific artistic act, as an expression of recognition for extraordinary artistic performances by students involved in the productions in the main program of the festival. A group of students in the jury give the award The SWAG of SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER. It’s purpose is to award the unique use of the means in production, originality and generational testimony. The Festival Director has the right, based on his decision, to award the The Award of The Director of the festival SETKÁNÍ ENCOUNTER.
