Elsa Valentim is a Portuguese actress. She graduated in 1993 from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon (Lisbon Theatre and Film School). Since 2009, Elsa has worked on the Michael Chekhov Technique, under the guidance of Lenard Petit (USA) and Slava Kokorin (Russia). She is also the founder and artistic director of Act-School, a private acting school in Lisbon and Co-Founder and director of Teatro dos Aloés, a theatre company created by a group of actors in Lisbon, 2001. She has worked with various Portuguese directors and also with the French directors, Bernard Sobel and Mario Gonzalez. In Paris, Elsa was awarded the François Florent Prize – Pédagogie 2018.
