The Film School in Lodz, one of the oldest film schools in the world, puts special emphasis on practical work in its teaching programme. The school educates students in film art, television, photography and acting. The students acquire knowledge preparing them to work as directors, directors of photography, animators, photographers, screenwriters, editors, production managers and actors. Studies comprise practical workshop classes accompanied by history, culture and art theory contributing to a thorough artistic development.
The school’s governing bodies are: the Senate and Department Governing Boards. Rector runs the school’s policy and represents the school outside. The Rector of the current term is Prof. Mariusz Grzegorzek.
There are four departments at the Polish National Film School in Lodz: Film and Television Directing, Direction of Photography and Television Production, Acting and Film Art Organization. The Departments were introduced by the School Senate resolutions.

A diploma show impossible to be classified, a mass, dancing, clash of worlds, apocalypse?! It is hard to predict! You can expect anything! Be afraid and check in your ID if you are the right age! It will be a scary, romantic, tragic, comic, science-fiction, cowboy-detective STORY … about society and its break-up.
We do not strive for precise meanings and conclusions. We touch different points and we are in constant shaking, because that’s the reality around. It breaks and is put back together again, it mixes senses like a blender set for high speed and it’s hard to find oneself in it. All the actors are students of the 4th year of the Acting Department of the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz.
Mariusz Grzegorzek — a film and theatre director, scriptwriter, set designer, graphic designer, creator of music videos, lecturer. Born in 1962 in Cieszyn ,Poland. He graduated from the Department of Directing at The Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz in 1990. For many years now Mariusz Grzegorzek has led fiction directing classes there. In 2012 he was elected for the Rector of the Lodz Film School. He is a member both of European and Polish Film Academy . Tomasz Armada is upcoming star in the fashion designer industry.
