International co-operation
Festival Setkání/Encounter is not only an opportunity for individual schools to present their creative work but also for confrontation with different approaches to theatre and teaching methods at various theatre schools. Furthermore, the festival is the site for various international negotiations.
PROSPERO
An open meeting of members of the Transitional Board of PROSPERO - a European Network of Higher Vocational Education Institutes in the Performing Arts - will take place at the theatre faculty of JAMU on February 11.The aim of the network is to bridge the gap between the art education and the professional field by providing a meeting point for members from all over Europe, to create as many contacts for co-operation and activities as possible.

SCART
A closed meeting of the SCART Steering Committee: Dutch - Czech structural co- operation for higher professional art education. The committee will evaluate the SCART conference in Utrecht (October 1998) and will focus on its 17 subprojects.
