The Brothers Karamazov
“Each of you wishes your father dead!”
The bachelor’s production of the Karamazov Brothers is based on the clash of young people with Dostoevsky’s novel. Together with the actors, the production team exposed itself to its central themes – the absence of authority, the impossibility of knowledge, the inability to control oneself, the desire to be held back and the bondage of inner rage.
Three sons longing for the death of their father – a fallen man who knows only cruelty, humiliation, vanity and intoxication with his own ability and power. How to deal with such a person? How is it possible to live in a world where there are no rules? Where does the Supreme Authority not recognize morality and purity?
